Getting Started
Overview
- It’s anonymous. Leadership decides who they want to hear from, but will never be able to trace responses back to individuals.
- It works best on a weekly timeframe, with the same question repeated each week.
- It starts with a binary question. This forces an overall assessment of the question. Scales, ratings and other measurements do not have the ability to inform the way the binary response does.
Nuance lives in the comments. Leadership which is culturally attuned to the company they work in will read the comments and understand the context and tone well.
Each component of Relay has been tested with an extensive audience and the delivery methods, timings and data visualisations have shown to give the leadership team fast, simple, actionable insights from the ground up.
Understanding Surveys
The survey is at the heart of Relay and allows leadership to gets answers to different types of questions. There’s regularly scheduled surveys (best used to gauge the employee experience over time) and one off surveys.
The surveys are requesting an answer to a binary question and a comment from the user. Some examples of questions are:
- How was your experience working at {organisation} this week?
- If you were to leave {organisation} today, would you recommend working here to your friends?
- What was your clients experience working with {organisation} like this week?
- Based on your experience this week, would you recommend working at {organisation} to a friend or family member?
After the answer to the binary question is received, we request a comment from the user. This is an open text response which is anonymously delivered back to Relay.
